Belfast Charitable Society

The Project

Belfast Charitable Society are probably best know as the founding fathers of Belfast.  Examples of their work include Clifton House on North Queens Street which was founded initially a Poor House and now today is both the BCS HQ and also a home for the elderly.

We created three websites to showcase what the society do today and also show where they have come from.

Each site has been interlinked to allow the visitor to move seamlessly between them and allowing them to understand the scope of the Charities influence in Belfast.

Clifton House is well worth a visit.  For further information or to book a tour contact Lucy Frazer on lucy@cliftonbelfast.org.uk
